The afternoon of May 6th, 2018, Guyana’s Inaugural World Archery Level 1 Coach Training Course conducted from April 28 – May 6, 2018 at the National Resource Centre, Georgetown, Guyana came to a closing.

On a particularly overcast and rainy day in late April 2018 at GDF’s Timehri shooting range, local practical shooters threw on their rain gear, extra shoes and headed out to the start positions, where the Guyana Sport Shooting Foundation hosted a Practical Pistol competition. This Match was kindly sponsored by NVR Security Services Inc. of Lot 160 Section ‘D’ Non Pariel, East Coast Demerara.

 Sunday 29^th April, 2018 marked a memorable day for Archery Guyana and Guyana as a whole when Coach Phillip Graves commenced his 8-day Level 1 Archery Coaching Course at the National Resource Centre, Woolford Avenue, Georgetown. Participants who came out bright and early for the intense start of the Course included members from Archery Guyana and other sports personnel from Regions 1, 4, 7, 8 and 9.
